[공지] [EVENT] 2026 SDG Youth Summer Camp Application Form
The annual SDGs Youth Summer Camp has been held 2017, empowering over 280 youth leaders to think critically and get engaged in implementing the SDGs. This year, the 2026 SDGs Youth Summer Camp focuses on SDG 13: Climate Action and carbon markets. Participants will be learn about the Carbon Markets and through lectures and exercises, asked to come up with innovative ideas and accelerated solutions to support global efforts to reduce emissions, scale up carbon finance, and deliver on the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Note: Only those who are selected will be contacted by mid to late June 2026 .
Camp Details
Time: 04 – 06 August 2026 (last day may be a half day)
Location: Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) Office in Seoul, Republic of Korea
Language: English
By taking part in the 2026 SDGs Youth Summer Camp, participants will be able to:
1. Communicate on the role of youth in driving climate action under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development;
2. Gain knowledge on the importance of carbon markets for SDG 13 achievement and their interlinkages with other SDGs;
3. Understand how to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy through market-based mechanisms, policy, and personal action; and
4. Develop their ideas on climate solutions alongside sustainable development and carbon market experts.
Eligibility
Age: Youths from any nationality born between 1998 and 2008.
Language: Participants must be proficient in English.
Note: All participants MUST participate in the entire schedule of the summer camp.
Candidates already based ROK would likely to be given priority.
100% attendance is mandatory for certificate eligibility.
Key notes
The participants must cover their own expenses for travel (whether domestic or international), local transportation to and from the venue located in Seoul, while accommodation and meals are provided by the organizers. The organizers will select participants based on their motivation, capacities, and English proficiency while considering gender and geographical balance.
